MARIJUANA SCENE - SECOND LIFE

This project was very interesting. Once again, it took me outside of what I’m usually accustomed to doing, which immediately excited me. I really enjoy working on new things, especially when they’re more challenging.
The client came to me with ideas for several props to build a scene. He likes marijuana flowers, marijuana bags, and different variations of money bundles. His main requirement was that the marijuana bags had to be filled with actual flowers—he didn’t want to use a simple PNG to fake the contents. The same applied to the marijuana flowers themselves: he wanted them fully sculpted, in my own style.

The sculpting and modeling process went very smoothly, and after the client approved the overall look, we moved on to texturing. The final step was organizing all the elements—filling the bags with flowers and assembling the scene.
This part required special attention, as the marijuana flower meshes needed optimization. Even though each flower was relatively lightweight, having many of them inside a single bag could become heavy. Since I knew these meshes wouldn’t be animated or deformed, I was able to decimate them to reduce density. I did this carefully, though, because the client didn’t want visible or harsh edges.

Even with these constraints, we achieved a solid result, and the client was satisfied with the final outcome.
The elements can be used either individually or combined, depending on his needs. I created this scene as a full presentation of the entire project.”
